To be and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ,
witnessing, loving and serving from our doorsteps
"to the ends of the earth". (Acts 1:8)

OUR BASIC BELIEFS
The history of our church tells us that we began as a non-denominational movement to foster the unity of the body (the Church) for the sake of Christ's mission. We evolved into a distinct group within the universal church and have a particular identity, common among Disciple of Christ churches.

Some of the following attributes describe our church very well. As you read them you will see that these attributes and beliefs are shared by other fellowships of Christians, as no single thing is unique to our church. It is perhaps the combination that gives us a distinct personality.

Disciple's life is centered at the table. Through communion we are connected to one another and to our God.

BELIEVER'S BAPTISM BY IMMERSION
AND OPEN MEMBERSHIP
Following the earliest traditions of Christianity,
we demonstrate our commitment to God by dramatic action,
letting the waters of our baptism
give witness to God's grace upon us.
Recognizing that the traditions of the church are many,
we do not insist that our baptismal practice
is the only one that is valid.
We know that baptism is God's action far more than our own.
